Understory Tree Preservation is a boutique arboriculture and land stewardship practice rooted in regenerative principles. We believe trees and landscapes deserve more than quick fixes or removals — they need thoughtful care and informed guidance that strengthen resilience over time.
Our work stays grounded, literally. We don’t climb or run heavy equipment. Instead, we focus on preservation-based pruning, orchard and ornamental care, soil health, and ecological land services such as invasive species management and trail design. Alongside this, we provide consulting and stewardship planning for homeowners, landowners, and towns who want science-based direction for the care of their trees and land.
As ISA Certified Arborists, we bring a professional standard of knowledge and care to every client we serve. Whether it’s a single tree, a backyard orchard, or a stretch of woodland, Understory provides long-term consulting and hands-on care rooted in both expertise and ecology.
